About the place where we are going to stay for the first 6 days of the project:
A really small village called “Gurguliat” in a beautiful area in the skirt of “Viskiar” mountain. Gurguliat is 10km away from the Slivnica town where our first performance is going to be and it is 40km away from the capital of Bulgaria – Sofia. We are staying in a wonderful wonderful small hotel.

About the project in short:
Ø The groups: Bulgaria, Spain, Hungary, Lithuania!
Ø From each group (10 people in each)(8 people can be from18-25 years old, 2 can be over 25):
3 fire dancers
3 dancers in the field of contemporary dance (contact improvisation if possible)
2 musicians with acoustic instruments – making the music of the performance
(life)
1 photographer /camera man
1 ecologist
Groups must be gender balanced

Ø We:
Stay in Gurguliat village for 5 nights working over a small performance.
Having the following workshops:
· about the body – contact improvisation;
· rhythm of life – acoustic music;
· dancing with fire;
· everything is a part of me – ecology;
· what we eat - about our food;
Having a trip to an eco center, have some free time.
Going to “Slivnica” – have a performance, sleep in Sofia. Spend 2 nights in Sofia have a performance in an open space in the city. Final party. Leave.

About Youth in Action program – will be good if you read a few things about the program in case you don’t know it:http://ec.europa.eu/youth/index_en.htm
We cover 70% all travel expenses (what is approved from the program in our project), and we will fully cover your food and accommodations. Please keep all your travel documents, (BOARDING PASSES and tickets) so we give you the money.
Each group can spend 480 Euro on: materials (cevlar, instruments, costumes, food for the intercultural evening (no alcohol))

VERY IMPORTANT: These expenses MUST be made only in the dates: 02 – 04.09.2010. Take invoice!!! Please pay attention on that. If the invoice is not from these dates you will NOT receive the money for them.

If there are vegetarians in the group – please, let us know within a few days.

There will be an intercultural evening – take some things (food, drinks, national costumes or elements, pictures, presentations, etc) that will help you present your country.

Take all your instruments, costumes, working (comfortable) clothes, the photographers/cameramen – their cameras, the musicians – their acoustic musical instruments.

If you have stage makeup and you would like to take it – we will appreciate that

Music – please take with you any interesting music that you have from your country (or other) that we can use in the evenings, in party time or in the performance. This is important to us!

If you wish and decide to stay a few days longer in Bulgaria take tents and sleeping bags – There are amazing places both mountains and seaside here that we believe you will enjoy. We can give you directions or join you. All expenses of your extra staying in BG are up to you.
